The main auditorium offers designated wheelchair locations and wheelchair companion seats in the front, middle, and rear orchestra as well as the front balcony for wheelchair users who want to remain in their wheelchair. Transfer seats are also available on the aisle in the front, middle, and rear orchestra for wheelchair users and those with limited mobility who wish to transfer to a theater seat. Adjacent companion seats are also available for purchase. Patrons with limited mobility can access Orchestra level seating. The balcony, with the exception of designated wheelchair spaces and some companion seats, require patrons to climb steps. Staff can assist you from the front door of the theater to your seats.
It is prohibited for anyone, other than those requiring wheelchair spaces or seats for their companions to use wheelchair accessible locations unless the area has been released for general seating. Those purchasing a wheelchair accessible space may purchase up to three (3) companion seats located near the wheelchair space; any additional seats must be purchased in the regular seating areas. This policy ensures that we are able to accommodate all available and accessible wheelchair spaces in our theater.
Accessible seating areas are available on a first come first served basis and State Theatre cannot guarantee availability of these sections once these areas have been filled or re-designated as non-ADA seating based on ADA guidelines.
The Studio is fully accessible and can be accessed by the elevator. Accessible restrooms are also available.
